What People Are Saying About Phoenix Palace

Phoenix Palace is fantastic in the evening as well, unlike Royal China or Chuen Cheng Ku. And unlike those places, the staff are smiley, knowledgeable and kind. For dinner it's all about pre-ordered whole roast piglets, ducks, pandas...Take your pick, just gave them some notice. And then there's a page of the menu where interesting things are done to ...more
Eating Out - Giles Coren (March 2011)

Organized a CNY dinner for friends for the first time here in Phoenix Palace. Booked the table/ pre-ordered the menu through email - efficient customer service, email was promptly replied (even at odd hours in the morning!). Loved the interior design - elaborately designed for Chinese New Year, really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was up to par, no complaints about it. Service was excellent, plates were cleared promptly and teapot quickly refilled. The waiters/waitresses were courteous and we enjoyed our meal thoroughly. I had a good first impression of this place - would love to bring my parents when they're here! Keep up the good work!

This is a delayed feedback. But for a fantastic restaurant like phoenix palace, this review is something that must be done. I hosted my wedding feast here on 25th March 2010 which was nearly 1 year ago. The staffs here were very friendly and kind. The quality of the food could be regarded as the 1st class in UK. And the service here was very good that made me feel like home. The price was reasonable. Anyway, thank you for everything you people have done for me especially the manager. I will go back again and enjoy the wonderful food in the ‘palace’! A++++++

By far the best and most welcoming chinese restaurant in London. The main menu is exceptional and is only dwarfed by the extensive and authentic dim-sum menu. Keep up the excellent work! :)

"Fantastic dim sum" (and other "largely authentic" Cantonese fare) makes this "top-notch" oriental near Baker Street tube a "very popular" choice; 'it's always full of Chinese folks".

The service was really great, very friendly and efficient. Phoenix Palace is quite a large restaurant. On the big tables, there is the rotating glass turntable so that everyone can get access to the dishes really easily! As you enter/leave the restaurant, take a look at the photo montage of the famous people that have dined at Phoenix Palace. See if you can spot the politicians, foreign officials, actors and tv presenters! .... more

A head count of Chinese people can be a pretty good gauge of quality. As such, Phoenix Palace scores full marks. It's packed with Chinese families who flock here to satisfy their cravings for authentic, fresh food. Capital spare ribs, Peking hot and sour soup and delicate steamed Peking buns all fly the Beijing flag with honour here... more
